Fil Volant was born from a passion for textile arts and a desire to offer new perspectives on patchwork through a curated selection of fabrics and techniques. The founder, Donna Hensley, brings with her the rich textile heritage of her American roots. She learned to sew growing up with the family matriarchs, and more importantly, she inherited a belief that textile arts—and patchwork in particular—offer great freedom of expression to all those who practice them.
